Anonymous Coward User ID: 24398416 United States 09/16/2013 04:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Do you feel played when an American company makes its products abroad and then sell them to you While calling them American products? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45378952 I ask because Americans are camping out to buy these slave labor made iphones and profiling and primping to show they have the lastest one. they are also bashing each other in the face to have them. You pay astronomical amounts of money for Blue Jeans made by slave workers overseas and America is the country that invented Blue Jeans. Are you THAT ignorant? Whats up with America? Are you gonna try to blame the 1% for selling them to you? Here's some more food for thought. When you are supporing those college sports on TV, those colleges that you could NEVER afford to attend? You are watching the top 10% of America, excluding the athletes on scholarship. You think you are a part of the show but you are a spectator. You couldn't affor 1 fucking semester at one of those colleges or Universities yet you support them and think you are a part of the pageantry. Look at that stadium audience. Those students(Excluding the ones on scholarship) are your top 10% Masers. Their families wrote a check for them to attend those schools for $100,000 yet you cheer like a fucking retard and you have absolutely no connection at all to them. They live in a WHOLE different America than most of you. I know most of this is just occurring to you. I'll await your awakening from your slumber. The "chosen ones" are in Gattaca. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Welcome to the "dream" There's other "chosen ones" in the "dream" You must be one of them having an American advantage? ;) Good luck oh and player, speak with some of the players in 3rd world countries thankful for an American wage.. much higher than their home countries "wage" |

Sometimes I get a strong desire for shrimp but when I think of those children , it seems so wrong to indulge . |

The employees live in dorms and work long hours for little pay when compared to western standards. However, there are usually 50-100 people lined up outside hoping to get a job. You might want to view them as slaves, but they prefer it to living in the county side and barely having enough to eat. |

Those people would have no job at all if the 2 dollar a day job wasn't available. Yeah its a shitty deal for some, but it is what it is. They can make 2 bucks a day in a factory or 2 bucks a day in a farm field or chose not to work. That's it, no other options for them. I do feel bad America's labor laws/cost or so ridiculous that we have crushed our own manufacturing and economy so people only have enough money to buy shitty products from Asia. |

wupy User ID: 41363484 United States 09/16/2013 10:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Actually slaves had it better. They got room and board, free medical and a structured existence. In a third world country the people get a few dollars a day but have to pay their own room and board, pay their own medical, survive on less than what a slave would have gotten in the old world. Do I feel bad about this???? Fuck no. It's win win for everybody. They still get to eat and I get underwear for less than a dollar....How awesome is THAT? I didn't create this world, It's not my place to change it. Those in bondage can only free themselves. Billy Joe McCallister was pushed! |

About the only way you're going to be able to avoid all things made in China or made with parts from China. |
