he is probably punishing you for not coming and getting him the second time, you baby him and he's testing to see how much control he can exert over you, using your devotion to his every need.

#1... do you even have any kids??? Please leave this mother alone. Sometimes no matter how much you care , Love, and try to get your children to do the right things they wont. At 15 most kids think that they know everything and you as the parent know nothing anyway. Please just find another thread to post on if you can't be supportive.

Sorry but he has a point. The mother could search for her son on the path that he would travel home on. I would do it.

Thank you for your prayers, he finally resurfaced at almost 1:00 am - his story of where he has been makes no sense to me and I am just happy to see he is alright. He was out there in the dark alone a long time all over town, according to him. I guess I am just going to have to consider this common behavior for him from now on and try to just wait it out, even when it doesn't make any sense, because this is just too much to go through. Because of his disorder, things don't really affect him the way they do other people, he doesn't worry about much, react to other people's feelings, etc. Like me trying to impress on him what I just went through worrying about him and trying to find him, it's like he doesn't have the wiring to process that, unfortunately.

I'm glad he is home and safe,Geo. It is a difficult battle,somethings are hard for us to understand.This spectrum is subject to change without any given notice.My child just doesn't grasp things like others either.What is important to me,doesn't phase him a bit.His wiring is different,but he's my son and I love him just the way he is.

Actually if your child was missimg you SHOULD post on GLP and EVERYWHERE w a large audience!
