School nurse Sally Cox and Barbara Halstead called 911 according to Wikipedia. That would jive with other reports that calls came from "inside" the school. That doesn't mean all the calls came from the school though. Maybe Babara Sibley called as well. Here's the piece from wiki... "She and the school secretary Barbara Halstead called 9-1-1 and hid in a first-aid supply closet for up to four hours. Custodian Rick Thorne ran through hallways, alerting classrooms." [ link to en.wikipedia.org] CNN also reported calls came from "inside" the school if you can believe them..... "At the police station, dispatchers began to take calls from inside the school. Authorities say the first emergency call about the shooting came in at "approximately" 9:30 a.m." Custodians name is Rick Thorne. He also may have called 911 but there's no mention of it anywhere. [ link to www.cnn.com] I remember there was some confusion on which custodian was working that morning. Kevin Anzellotti is the head custodian and I don't remember if he had the day off or what the story was, but there was confusion in regards to this. Also I found something interesting, here is email access to the staff at Sandy Hook, so if anyone wants to ask any particular staff member a question - why don't you email them?
