Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31483651 I still think the 911 caller could be the late arriving teacher. One 911 caller appears to be the parent who arrived after the school doors had been locked--she was waiting, along with another mom, to be buzzed in, noticed the car and jackets, noticed the glass, then heard shooting, called 911, and ran with the other mom behind a dumpster. Waiting to be buzzed in? If the shooter blasted his way in I would think there would be an entrance now. You would notice more than a " little glass" Every day God deals you a hand to play |

Behind the dumpster, now were the 2 ladies hiding with a police officer. Lets clear that up as well. ? Barbara Sibley and whoever she came with. One of them was the wife of a firefighter. Ms Sibley did not call 911. She was escorted to safety so the police were there or pulling up right when she ran to the dumpster. I believe her husband was also responding to the scene. At first, I thought they were fairly believable, but the more I watched it, the less I believed. Especially her husband! He was so vague about everything regarding who went into the school, and who came out. And of course the person interviewing them (which I think was Katie Couric) didn't seek clarification for anything. By the way I am really pulling the stops out embellishing in this story because there is no verifiable proof of anything so we are going on hearsay. So we will go with 2 interviews with her. [link to newsfeed.time.com] "The instant Sibley heard the gunfire, she ran for cover, sprinting across the parking lot to where dumpsters stood, hiding there while the carnage took place." later in the article "When sirens blared in the background, Sibley knew help was on the way. Firetrucks from the station down the block pulled up and, when the authorities gave a signal to Sibley and the other moms hiding out with her, the women ran, keeping low, to a shielding fire truck as an officer covered them with his weapon. About 10 or 15 minutes later, authorities started to release students one class at a time Never mentions her calling 911. Every day God deals you a hand to play |

This man supposedly went into the school, and this is all Katie got from him. She asked him when he knew it was a recovery and not a rescue mission. The people reporting this are obviously standing outside the school, because they say "broken out of the building" (which no one would probably know who was hiding under a desk in an office), and because they say they're "unsure why". No one in the meeting room knew glass was broken out of the building, because of the three who ran out of the meeting room into the hallway, two were killed and one barely made it back inside the meeting room. So, the call had to come from the two moms outside the front door. |

So, the call had to come from the two moms outside the front door. Now, Gene Rosen said he heard shooting at 9:15. The two moms may well have heard the shots fired into the classrooms, minutes after the shooters had already killed adult staff, and after the shooters had run back to the music room to "pound on the door," apparently desperate to enter the music room. |

Wouldn't that mean something had already happened at the school? That the principal had already been shot by this point? Could they have seen down to the office from the front doors of the school? They didn't mention seeing any bodies, but Sibley saw kids running to the firehouse. In my mind, this means there were already shots fired. Did that other woman who was already at the door hear/see anything? Obviously, she would have had to! Sibley walked to the door, saw the other mom, and said it was "so quiet." Where was "Adam" during this time then? Everything supposedly happened so quickly so assuming Sibley got there after the first gunshots had already been fired, wouldn't they have seen "Adam" making his way to the classrooms? Not that we've ever been given a clear visual of the layout of the front of the school... They saw the glass window was shattered, said it was odd, and then heard the gunshots. Sibley said she "ran" and was "ushered to safety." Who took her to the firetruck? It sounds like they heard the gunfire, and then BAM! someone is there to instantly to take them away? I don't know if this couple did other interviews, but in the one they did with Katie, Sibley never mentions that she called 911. |

One of them was the wife of a firefighter. Ms Sibley did not call 911. She was escorted to safety so the police were there or pulling up right when she ran to the dumpster. I believe her husband was also responding to the scene. Think about it. Since she was escorted to safety behind a dumpster why would she call 911? The cops were already there. Sibley and another mom came to school to deliver forgotten things or whatever. They arrived just after 9:30 a.m., and as they waited to be buzzed in, noticed car, jackets strewn, and then glass. They were just wondering what that meant, and then heard shooting begin. They called 911 and ran behind a dumpster; one policeman who arrived on scene shortly thereafter ran behind the dumpster himself either because he spotted them, or because he too was sheltering from shots that were being fired in or into the parking lot. The ladies may have run at the first sounds of gunfire, or may have run because a shooter was shooting in the parking lot, or both. Sibley saw 8-10 kids running from the school towards the firehouse. Sibley states she saw 8-10 kids running. Then she gets to the school an notices the car blah blah blah. Then she walks up and another mom is standing there ( uh waiting to be buzzed in right ?) . So did this mom not seem concerned when the kids came running out? Every day God deals you a hand to play |

You keep saying they were waiting to be buzzed in...you are assuming that. They never state anything about waiting to be buzzed in just that you had to buzz to get in. The image of 2 woman standing by a door and the pane glass window next to it has been shattered with a hole the size that a person could just walk in, press the buzzer and wait to be buzzed in, then they say gosh that's weird all that glass don't ya think? They never mention calling 911. You also infer that. Do you have any thing that says she called 911 definitively? They are the only people in the story whose view of events matches the 911 call Bob Nute received. Shortly after they call, saying they "think there's someone shooting in the building," and "the front glass is broken out of the building--they're unsure why," then another call comes from inside the building reporting someone in Room 1 with a gunshot wound to the left foot. Two different perspectives--one outside the building, one inside. Two different 911 calls. The two "visiting moms" account of events matches Nute's first 911 call, and is the only one that can (unless there is a completely different person outside the building at the same time as the moms, whose presence is never mentioned). |

Also corroborating this concept is Sibley's account that she was there with another female parent--this is further corroborated by the officer who says he is hiding with two parents behind a dumpster, minutes after the 911 call. |
