Anyone have tattoos they regret?

I love all of mine....but I do them all myself....don't trust anyone else. =-)

Yah I've got three on my back I want to get covered. Tattoo nightmares gave me a shot but the story wasn't interesting enough.

I wouldn't worry about a different mindset in 5 years. I would worry about gravity in 30 years.

No real regrets here. All of them aren't visible when dressed in long pants & short sleeve shirt.

I have a large squirrel on my inner thigh with his arms reaching for my nuts, little hands open. Chicks dig it!

The majority of people will wholly regret those filthy inks when their skin starts to wrinkle and sag and they look like dried-up prunes covered in faded, dirty-looking ink.

I have the word 'SWEET'.....and my wife has the word 'DUDE'.

I have a few tattoos that I got as a teenager and in my 20s.

I regret it all. Every single one of them.

I had one lasered off---unbelievable pain!

I had one covered by a different tattoo. I plan to cover all the others with something different.


I wish I had never done any of them. TOTAL regret.

Hahah I love when people show me their really awesome, totally cool, best idea ever tattoo's.... as soon as they're gone I laugh my ass off.

Every woman on Earth will regret their tramp stamp at some point. I know a dozen douche bags with shitty tattoo's that were retarded the day they got them, letalone 10 years down the road.

Tattoo's for the most part are the sign of a reallllllyy stupid person.

You know, all kidding aside, tattoos were originally intended for slaves and animals. Funny how they've become so mainstream.

Here's an easy test.

Remember when you were ten, think of all the cool things you liked... depending on the time frame, it could have been sweet cartoons, pop bands, maybe you even had a bestestest friend you were going to be friends with forever.... would you regret any of those tattoos??

The only tattoo's that people don't regret are those that are there to remember someone who has passed. And even then, some of these are regretted.

A neighbor had her mothers name in 2 inch letters on her neck & her hubby had her name in 2 inch letters on his neck. Feel so sorry for him...

Older grampa dude has some sort of flame thing on his arm, saw him a couple of weeks ago and ask if he had a rash on his arm. He just gave me an awful look and said he had his tattoo's redone- about 6 months ago. On his aged nearly 70 year old skin it looks- I don't know WTH it looks like.

Found the best way to combat lazer pain was lots of exercise the day before, to stay up all night the night before, take a 10mg percocet 30 min. before you get there.

You really don't notice the pain then! Ehh, that works for hair removal.

For all those that do have tatts tha they want to get rd of...Is it possible to just get them tattooed over in skin coloured ink?

I see a show on da telly that is all about crappy tatts and people have great big horrible tatts plastered over the top of them ...wtf....why?

were any of them sentimental? about a family member etc?

Get the image you want to have tattooed made into a tshirt or put on a piece of costume jewelry. Its very easy to do yourself or pay some crafty person to do on a site like Etsy. Get a couple of extras for backup.

Wear it every minute of every day for an entire year. If you still love the image just as intensely and feel so attached to it that you want it permanently etched into your skin, then consider getting the tattoo.

Start saving now so you can go to the best artist you can find and afford. Set aside $20 a month or more in your tattoo fund while you wear your tshirt or jewelry item constantly. In a year you should be able to afford a nice one if you still want it.

You might decide tucking the tshirt or trinket away with your sentimental stash and spending the money on something else is a better way to go.

If you aren't willing to do this then you may regret the tattoo.

I've been watching these bad tattoo shows lately and actually pondered out loud last night why people don't just get the tat covered with a black box or bar instead of going for something even larger and possibly more regrettable to cover it up.

That is a good idea! Not sure it would cover completely but I like the way you think.

it helps if you get a decent artist, dont get them done when youre young and clueless, and choose your ink locations wisely

having said that, there are lots of people who get tattoos who have covered all the bases, and still regret them. these people are generally regretful personalities to begin with, and shouldnt have got tattooed in the first place

and have a REASON for them, not coz its the thing people do these days
