How many pennies does it take to make 1 lb?

I'm pretty sure pennies make shitty copper. It's illegal to melt them down into something useful.

Also it is "NOT" illegal to meltdown these coins. It is illegal commit fraud with them, such as counterfeiting (melting quarters to make fake silver dollars, etc). It is the will of the "government" to phase out the old and in with the new anyway. ENJOY!
