"The moral thing to do" is to accept that 50,000 Americans die every year, year after year, from lack of access to healthcare??

hmm...Business owners don't want this...

The middle class doesn't want this...

Unions don't want this....

Yes, it is immoral to push through legislation that no one wants, and will only raise unemployment and underemployment.

But, you and your type don't care, because as long as you who make less than 20k a yr, get your healthcare paid for by us taxpayers, you don't care.

are you really that uninformed? No one in the US has a "lack of access to healthcare" Whether you have insurance or not you have access to healthcare. I agree there are some private institutions who won't treat some things if you don't have insurance or ability to pay, but there are clinics, state funded hospitals, some private physicians who will treat you without insurance and help you pay. And a lot of people who don't have health insurance is not because it's not available to them, they just refuse to buy it. They would rather spend that money on things or drugs.

Actually so many illegal "new citizens" were being born here every year because of our "free" health care system, they shut down several Obstetrical hospitals.

We did have a working health care system, until the democrats opened it up to the world for free, and then the illegals abused it.

Just secure the borders.

Thats what they say, but they'll cave in as always.

Keep in mind, Obamacare was written by the health care companies.

Its a mandate which means that people HAVE to buy insurance or face punishment. This GUARANTEES millions of new customers for health care insurers.

Because they will be making billions more, they compromised and allowed some provisions, previous conditions, age of dependents etc.

Republicans are no less beholden to BIG business.

It was 45,000 four years ago, probably higher now.

Nearly 45,000 annual deaths are associated with lack of health insurance, according to a new study published online today by the American Journal of Public Health. That figure is about two and a half times higher than an estimate from the Institute of Medicine (IOM) in 2002.

The study, conducted at Harvard Medical School and Cambridge Health Alliance, found that uninsured, working-age Americans have a 40 percent higher risk of death than their privately insured counterparts, up from a 25 percent excess death rate found in 1993.

Well then, fire the insurance companies and use holistic medicine.

hydrogen peroxide therapy
colloidal silver
MSM
baking soda
acupuncture
chi gong
reiki
quantum k
etc - lots of energy healing that works
eat organic
walk 20 minutes a day

Doctors mistakes are responsible for thousands of deaths due to wrongly prescribed prescription drugs.

YOU are in charge of your health, dont blame insurance companies. If they are in control, its only because YOU LET IT HAPPEN

That's another thing...

Instead of blaming insurance companies...maybe deal with the underlying problem which causes medical care to cost sooo much, you need insurance to cover it.

Like frivolous law suits by @zzhole attorneys like Obama used to be, for starters.

If they would have given the advertising money for the Unaffordable Car Act to those without insurance, they could have given each individual several hundred thousand dollars to fund their own healthcare.

The operative word to all of this is INSURANCE COMPANIES...

Obamacare is purely for the benefit of INSURANCE COMANIES..

Secondly, every single person in this nation this year so far has already been a taxpayer of one tax or another.

Itsn't time to realize that we all are in fact Taxpayers?

How long was that false divide better we all which are in fact Taxpayers and that non-exitent ground called the "Non-taxpayers".?
