Russia believes the U.N. chemical weapons inspectors' report on Syria is "one-sided," "distorted" and built on insufficient information, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told Russia Today on Wednesday.
In addition, Syria gave a top Russian diplomat evidence that opposition forces were involved in the use of chemical weapons last month, Russia's RIA-Novosti news agency reported Wednesday.

Russia has been handed new materials by the Syrian regime implicating rebels in the chemical attack outside Damascus on August 21.

Sergei Ryabkov, the deputy foreign minister, who held talks with Walid al-Muallem, the Syrian foreign minister, said: "The corresponding materials were handed to the Russian side. We were told that they were evidence that the rebels are implicated in the chemical attack."

OK, so what happens *if* this evidence turns out to be the same type of evidence Obama etc all have claimed.. Putin then looks as big a numpty as everyone else.. which I think is the plan if all the Western new agencies are broadcasting Russian claims.. they would only do that to make someone look bad, be it Obama, Cameron or Putin... as always there is an agenda in play..

Well he hasn't had to try hard! A third grader could make this administration look foolish and immature.

You don't even need physical evidence. There is absolutely no reason that the government would use gas. Even if they wanted to kill a bunch of civilians, they had other options that wouldn't attract outside war crimes inquiries.

The US has been gunning for war with Syria and they were just looking for any excuse to help their al CIAda "rebel" friends who were getting their asses kicked.

The entire story is so transparent that I can't even believe anyone still believes their lies.
