This is what our Gov has come to just to be able to pass legislation and come to a compromise. In addition, it's also a great biannual media blitz to scare and distract the public, and implement things like the scarequester and shave a little more off for themselves. |

FYI The October 1st date in the Gov't shutdown scenario is based upon the Fiscal year. For the federal gov't the fiscal year ends September 30th and fiscal year 2014 starts Oct 1st. |
