This planet is just one big experiment.

I'm sure most of you believe in extraterrestrial life. If a civilization is advanced enough to traverse the stars, think about what else they are capable of doing. Technology would most likely be implemented into their genes. Any form of disease would be non existant, or easily curable. Lifespan would be much greater than what humans are used to. Immortality is not imaginary. The tools needed to travel the stars could be used for many other things.

Lets pretend a civilization like this is out there somewhere. They intend to spread life across the universe. Earth might very well be one location in which they have planted their seeds. Our planet may just be one of many other planets in their agenda. The moon might even be an artificial object set in place to control the habits of humans. The position of earth in relation to the sun may even be carefully set so that we experience a vast selection of climate, some of which we can not survive in naturally and some we can, perhaps to see how we adapt to changing environments. It seems as though they intended to create humans that, according to their environment, adapted and evolved differently. Diversity causes trouble with relations and understanding of those that are hardwired differently than you.

This would make a very interesting science experiment.

Plant the seeds.
Watch them grow.
Watch how they adapt to their immediate environment.
How long will it take for them to mature enough and branch out to explore new areas?
See how they react with different groups.
Will they maintain a peaceful relationship with another group or fail to communicate and fall to violence?
If violence occurrs, was it intentional or not?
If intentional, can they maintain their dominance?
If they are peaceful, how long can they provide resources to other groups without running dry?
Will greed cause them to want more and advance above the group they barter with?
How will the leaders maintain their system while catering to the wants or needs of friendly factions?
There are two paths to controlling a faction.
Peace and violence.
Peace is clearly the righteous action, but it is more difficult to sustain.
Will a groups rules or religion keep their people in check to secure peace?
Will one factions beliefs conflict with another factions beliefs and lead to the negative path of violence?
Or perhaps a factions rules are too strict for their own people, and an uprising begins.
If violence is the chosen path of a faction, do they have the willpower, skills and tools needed to dominate another faction?
If dominance is asserted, how will they maintain relationships with unrelated factions that have witnessed this horrible act?
Or how would they keep their own citizens in order without them feeling guilty?



These are some of the questions I would like to see answered if I was a highly advanced, immortal being, running an experiment on a planet. The experiment could serve the purpose many things. Perhaps to perfect a species that copes well with differences in environment, thought processes and habits. Or maybe for the enjoyment of watching unlike groups collide to see who will be victorious, sort of like an arena.



This is what I believe is happening on earth.
Whether TPTB are aliens, gods, or merely humans, to me, it seriously looks like we are part of a science experiment.
