Did you know 'natural raspberry flavor' comes from the anal gland of a beaver? 'Natural favoring'. [ link to en.wikipedia.org]
Speaking of gross things people eat without being aware...
You all see this? Thread: How is artificial raspberry flavor from a beaver's butt.... cheaper than plain old raspberry flavor? It seems very labor intensive - having to save the anal gland for two years vs. just picking natural berries? I've googled this and can't find the answer I'm looking for? Any one here know anything about this?
