During workouts, between each sets, you typically take about a minute or two to rest.

Now you can do the same thing, throughout the day.

Take very frequent short breaks, also about a minute or two, throughout the day.

You'll have tons more energy.

Re: Little tip, for a lot more energy
I have become less active lately and feel I have no energy. Need to get moving again but lack the drive. I've always been motivated to look good to be attractive. But ever since I've overcome my ego and vanity I lost the drive that I always relied on to do it. Maybe it's just a phase I'm going through. Anyhoo....blah,blah,blah...I'll shut up now. Yeah..energy. Miss it.

You can always change the priority, for example, instead of working out for vanity reasons, you can do it for better health, energy, etc.

Good to hear you have energy :)

Maybe you can share some tips.

Also, if you take frequent breaks, you can also do deep relaxation, consciously relax the muscles, and do deep breathing.

You may already do this, but I also find, nothing replaces sleeping straight for about 8 hours.

I tried, many other things for energy, but, if I don't sleep for about 8 hours straight, all other techniques, supplements, coffee. etc, doesn't make any difference.

Re: Little tip, for a lot more energy
Coffee was giving me trouble. I felt like I couldn't get it out of my system, like the caffeine would build up over days.

Was having trouble sleeping and then in the morning I'd have a hard time getting going so I would drink coffee, then have trouble sleeping, etc. etc. vicious cycle.

It would seem like the coffee would rev me up and I would use up my whole days energy in a few hours in the morning and would be sluggish and tired the rest of the afternoon.

I recently switched to green tea, which has far less caffeine and seems less acidic somehow. It makes me feel good, not bad and I don't drink it as compulsively. Been sleeping a lot better and feeling better all day, more energy for sure.

Very good tip.

Also green tea has catechins, that's good for weight loss, which isn't found in coffee.

And green tea has polyphenals, an antioxidant, that helps prevent cancer, protects the body by neutralizing free radicals, and helps keep you young longer (both health wise and physical appearance).

Yeah...but it's hard to muster it up for that when your whole life it's been mainly to be attractive and self adoration. That's fuel for the fire in most women, I sorry to say. But I think I am in a transitional period in my spiritual growth. Eventually I'll snap out of such self distructive thinking and regain my vigor. Thanks for the post that brought it my attention.

If you ever decide to get back into it, here's another consideration. You can always make the duration shorter, and less intense. It makes it a bit easier, and will therefore make it likewise easier to maintain and stick with.
