16% isn't a collapse? No matter how high it went this year a 16% drop in stocks would be devastating to the entire nation. Everyone would lose and there would be losses effecting retirees to the big banks and that's just this year. This could continue into next year and god knows what will happen then.

It will go lower than that. Printing money only works for a little while, and then it all unwinds. See the NIKKEI index for what will play out after all the money printing wore off, this happened about 20 years ago I believe.

The fed came out today and said it could still taper its bond buying program at the end of October so the market reacted. It's pretty much BS and they will probably continue the QE but the markets aren't based on reality and over reacted.

A Keynesian Economist would say that the FED is in a pickle. They can not keep flooding the market with new dollars without causing a weakening in the dollar to the point of collapse, yet they can not stop printing money because interest rates will explode as would the interest rates on the debt.

Either way; it will eventually collapse the economy with global reach.

The only other way out is to start a war and get the population behind them.

So looking at my simplistic analysis, there is no way out. Eventually we will be faced with global economic collapse and bloodshed. It is inevitable.

The Elitist 0.01% have caused this through manipulation of human consciousness. They will keep it up as long as possible by whatever means necessary.

The collapse will not take place this year (2013). The elite have not created enough debt yet. They want more "Detroit's"... more failures.

A reduction of the stock market by a few -1000 points is NOT a
collapse. When banks go under and the USD becomes totally worthless, that is a collapse.
