The thing is that the two programs are very different. If you knew anything at all about Romney's plan in MA you would understand this. Romney didn't raise taxes and didn't do anything at all to people who already had coverage. It's completely different from what Obama did.

People who don't spend any time at all looking into the details just assume that the two plans are identical because they both involve the government. It's also an easy talking point for brain dead liberals to try and promote their party.

Wow, my mortgage payment is $700 a month. Somehow I just can't visualize myself ever paying more than a hundred a month for 'insurance'. Glad I qualify for Medicare next year. Part A is free and that's all I'm going to sign up for.

when your monthly insurance premium is more han your monthly mortgage then you are getting screwed by BIG GOV and the insurance companies.

My insurance agent quoted mme my rate after obamacare goes into effect, $390 a month , thats more than my mortgage payment. So it looks like I will cancel my health coverage once obozocare is in full effect and spend the extra cash on over the counter meds, barter items, ammo and survival items as the Shit will hit the fan when Millions of people get pissed about their monthly insurance premium doubling in price.

I checked the Obamacare calculator and the cheapest coverage would be $280 a month with a $3500 deductible and up to $6500 a year in out-of-pocket expenses. That is OUTRAGEOUS!!

5 years ago, before I got employer health care, I had my own private insurance plan. $180 a month with a $1000 deductible and no out-of-pocket expenses.

The only people who benefit from Obamacare are the poor, the elderly, and those who have per-existing conditions and use hundreds of thousands, if not million, a year in services.

The young, the healthy, the middle class are absolutely getting raped on Obamacare.

Oh and please don't forget that Congress and their families are exempt, and also various FOO (Friends Of Obama), and big donors to the dem party....

Here in CA I am getting the Silver plan from Blue Cross. It is going to be $180.00 per month (awesome) and with a small deductible and co-pays like I had before. As a cancer survivor dropped by my insurance in 2006 and sadly not being from a wealthy family I was stuck.

I have a feeling OP is probably getting eroneous information and/or is in one of the states where the Republican Governor, said "no way, I don't want our uninsured citizens to get affordable, good quality health care, they're still out of luck." But that could just be little ole me, being cynical again.
