Although its not entirely unusual, have seen it before, today noonish 4 blackhawks, all black SOC , beeline to Dam Neck for team six, from bragg. What is unusual, a couple c17, definately big transport and not normal f18 traffic,, takeoff from oceana hour ago. Not to often i see that, but not unusual, i remember it was often pre iraq.

And yes, team six does have seadoos, seen bunch on the truck goin thru the gate.

Yesterday I witnessed 7 military/Apache style helicopters in a procession. In nearly 2 years, I have never seen any military type of aircraft before. This is in Northern California Calaveras county, which is a very rural county and in the middle of nowhere.

Chances are (based on your location and the time of year) these are active police/FBI operations seeking out illegal marijuana crops.

Keep in mind this year's crop is about a week or two from harvest, and many law enforcement agencies use helicopter/thermal reconnaissance to sniff out and destroy huge marijuana crops. Could be an explanation for more heli-activity.
