I watched most of the first episode recently. Does it get any better? Or do they just make drugs on every episode?

Also, yeah perhaps they're equating Ron Paul with Nazis...but it could also be that it's just Gale's character would tend to be a voter for Ron Paul, combined with the show doing a "shout out", in a positive way.

It just gets worse. Really, don't waste your time on this show.

Its kinda tricky to expain the show’s bizarre premise in a single sentences.

its entertaining watching the show's main character slowly change from the protagonist to the antagonist over the series

As the series progresses, the viewers see Walt & Jesse develop a sort of father-son bond, with Walt becoming much closer to Jesse than his actual son.

Gustavo Fring is a fucking awesome character! nuff said

the show can be lighthearted ie. jesses use of the word'b----'

but also really dark. "If you try to interfere, this becomes a much simpler matter. I will kill your wife. I will kill your son. I will kill your infant daughter.'"

the series has really cool montage scenes set to music.

gut-wrenching surprises in the final minutes of episodes.

you learn new stuff about science

You don't understand the concept of fiction, do you?

You mean to tell me you saw the first episode and you're wondering if it gets any better? The pilot was f-ing great! Probably the best pilot in any TV-Show along with Lost. The pilot revealed to us an aging chemistry teacher, a brilliant chemist, whose life has gone down the toilet. His wife seems to be the dominant partner, his son has CP, a second child is on its way even though the protagonist is way too old for a new child, he's turning 50 and feels like he hasn't accomplished anything, his son seems to dig the protagonists brother-in-law more than his own dad, he has two jobs in order to support his family. And to top it off, he's diagnosed with lung cancer with only a few years to live.
He goes with his DEA brother-in-law to watch a knock-down of a methlab. He sees his former student, Jesse Pinkman, who he partners up with to cook the purest meth so he can sell it to support his family. Things quickly get out of control when the protagonist gets confronted with the true face of the drug-trade.

The f-ing pilot is as good as it gets. It reveals to us the entire premise for the show. The ending is suspenseful and intruiging. What's there not to like? Breaking Bad is the best show ever. It tops The Sopranos and The Wire in my opinion. Season 1 starts off slow but has some great moments and a lot of twists and turns. Season 2 is where they really try to make some serious dough but the drug-trade is a dangerous markets and Walter White will soon learn it. The two last episodes of season 2 is where the show really begins to get darker. The second to last episode in season 2 will feature one of the darkest moments in the show where we clearly will witness how low the protagonist has gone.
Season 3 tops off the previous seasons. This season will feature some of the most intense episodes in the show. Look for "One Minute", "Half Measure" and "Full Measure". Now that's intense! You'll be at the edge of your seat. Season 4 is even better than season 3 and this is where it really gets bigger and better. The last 4 episodes of season 4 will blow you away. Season 5, which only has two episodes left (the penultimate will premiere tonight) tops season 4 although the first half will feature some improbable moments. But these last episodes which started airing in August this year EASILY tops everything this show has ever done. I never thought the writers could top episodes such as Crawl Space, Half/Full Measure, Face Off, One Minute, Grilled, Salud, End Times, Sunset, Phoenix and Mandala. But the writers blew my fucking mind off when I saw the episodes "To'Hajiilee and Ozymandias".
