As a first time gardener last year, I was unaware that one carrot seed would yield one carrot, same with beets. What other vegetation is like this. Are fruits and beans the only one seed wonders? (Producing more then one during growing season).

Also, what root vegetables can re grown? Like celery, carrots etc?

I know these might seem like silly questions, but I'm planning ahead for next year as I skipped this year.

Any good links on schooling me on this are appreciated.
