An Open Thread - Anti-War Songs AKA When Artists Didn`t Sell Out | |
Seven User ID: 46439469 Canada 09/24/2013 09:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Remember when our artists weren`t sell outs. Their appears to be a great reduction in artists who are anti-war activists. Maybe you can`t get a recording contract without selling out. I don`t know WTF happened, but I certainly remember back when it was the ``in thing`` to be part of the peace movement. Buffalo Springfield - For What It`s Worth [link to www.youtube.com] Bob Dylan - John Brown [link to www.youtube.com] Pink Floyd - Dogs of War [link to www.youtube.com] Feel free to add your own. Peace to all at GLP. |
