Anonymous Coward User ID: 47384775 Uruguay 09/25/2013 01:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Not really, yours may have an attachment problem, you may need to work on her separation anxiety. She is my little shadow, but she is a puppy, so I accept she is going to be very playful for a while. I mean, mine cries when I lock the bathroom door or my bedroom to get dressed -or she would start pulling from my clothes-. While I'm not home, I'm told she naps. I'm just marvelled at how fast she is getting to walk with a leash so perfectly on day two outside. Lol@CesarMillan. She did bring her bed next to mine and sleeps there at night, I let her, because... why not? I'm single and she is a dog. The bed is round, purple and lilac and has 2 appliqued hearts with printed paws. When I had a male dog I wished I could have a girl dog to get her girly stuff. he was a poodle, but I didn't want to embarass him with a ridiculous haircut. The bed is from a flee market. New, though. pffft I'm cheap, I know. |
oneian User ID: 24804922 Australia 09/25/2013 02:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | hi OP, I am experiencing this too. I have a loyal German Shepherd who is normally around me most of the time..... but this year, he has gotten more clingy - rightly said. If i have a conversation with my wife and say the talking gets a little louder, he will get up and come between us....he has not done this before. He is getting very sensitive. |

We went out the other day for errands, and recorded her. She sat at the door the whole time we were gone, and barked. She has a ridge of fur that stands up along her spine, to her neck as well. Don't know what's wrong with her, but I'm sure watching... |

She will not leave me alone, if I go into the bathroom she sits right outside the door, or if I'm cooking, she's sitting about a foot away. Sounds like classic seperation anxiety to me. |

They follow me from room to room. If they fall asleep in one and I leave, they wake up and move with me. Yes, even if I go in the bathroom they come in there. This is new. I am on the east coast. Anonymous Coward User ID: 43698733 United States 09/25/2013 05:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We have a 9 year old female German Shepherd and she has been very clingy also. I know why though...We just brought home a 7 week old German Shepherd pup, and the old girl seems to be frightened about being 'replaced'. Realizing her anxiety, our family is giving her lots of extra love and attention. |

Harley Chunnam User ID: 39548362 United Arab Emirates 09/25/2013 05:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My wife and I have a couple of Arabian Mau-mix kitties and they have become ridiculously clingy the past couple of weeks - even the female who is normally quite aloof. They seem to be in good moods, but they are always following us from room-to-room and wanting to be on us at every possible opportunity - even whingeing for us to sit down so they can get a spot on our laps... The boy has always been a bit clingy with his "mum" but he's now behaving like that with me too. Very odd. "...too weird to live, and too rare to die." Btw, I just killed this thread. |
Face Palmer User ID: 47399352 Germany 09/25/2013 05:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Could be a sign its ending soon. Just sayin. "The world will soon wake up to the reality that everyone is broke and can collect nothing from the bankrupt, who are owed unlimited amounts by the insolvent, who are attempting to make late payments on a bank holiday in the wrong country, with an unacceptable currency, against defaulted collateral, of which nobody is sure who holds title." Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. The woman who is not pursued sets up the doctrine that pursuit is offensive to her sex, and wants to make it a felony. No genuinely attractive woman has any such desire. - H.L. Mencken, In Defense Of Women |
