Ok, so obamacare gets repealed, then what? What's the alternative? Our current system is inhuman and the #1 cause of bankrupcy. Come on, conservatives, any ideas how to fix this shit or are you happy with the status quo?

Haven't you read any of the half dozen or so plans put forth by the conservatives?

Most favor a series of small incremental changes rather than trying to do it all in one bill. Things like making it possible to cross state lines to buy insurance and tort reform.

But aren't they also to vote on Saturday as to whether or not cloture will be allowed - which gives the Senate the ability to amend the bill (to include Oblahblahcare funding) with only 51 votes?

That I believe is the big vote...this one only allows the deliberation process to move forward.

Sen Cruz yielded time to the Sen from Kentucky, at which Sen Paul challenged the President, Congress and Government Civil service if Obama Care is the law of the people then it should be the law to all people of the land.

I agree with Sen Paul. If President Obama wants this past he should sign up for his own proposal regardless of his special status; what is good for the goose is good for the gander, and there should be no exception.

John Cornyn from Texas strategy is not to answer the phone at any of his offices and keep his voice mail box full so he can't hear what the people who elected him have to say.

I guess John will hear what we have to say next time we visit the ballot boxes in Texas.

I almost let myself get dragged into the Ds v. Rs thing with Harry Reid and Cruz.

If Cruz is really so wonderful, why doesn't he do us all a favor and begin impeachment proceedings. I believe there certainly are enough grounds for impeachment at this late date.
