Women can be very smart but still not intelligent. Know what I mean?

No matter how brilliant a woman seems or acts, most guys still regard her as a little bit dumb or psycho. I don't go to women doctors cause if they can't rebuild something as simple as a chevy big block then how can I trust them with my innards.

Kinda like at my corporation. There is a woman executive with an MBA but the mail room boy can easily out wit here. And he has a better understanding of Business.

The worst thing about women and how they are able to get along as much as they do is that they listen to, and believe pop culture. They use group culture to get along for the most part...

A woman can have 20 PHD's and some dude who didn't even graduate highschool can still regard her as dumb.

If a wife is dumb, it means one (or both) of two things:

1. The husband is also dumb.
2. The husband is a misogynist.

Intelligent men tend to marry intelligent women, on average. Professionals tend to marry other professionals. As lovely as a woman can be, if she is dumber than a box of rocks, her more intelligent husband, if he is normal and honest with himself (not in either category above), is going to start feel uncomfortable, bored and want to spend less time with her as the marriage progresses. He will become frustrated with her and will start to devalue her. He may feel trapped and unloved, depending on what his emotional needs are. He may come to resent her.

If you're smart, marry likewise. If you're dumb, you should seek to marry smart anyway- maybe your kids will be smarter than you.

Well, I've designed and built large pieces of furniture before so I am familiar with basic construction. Designing a bridge would be an interesting and fun challenge; I am confident I could design one after learning how to do so, practicing and discussing with architects. I have no problems parallel parking. I work in the sciences/tech by profession so perhaps more spatial-logic problems are more easy for me to solve than if I were, say, a daycare worker or a saleswoman.

If you don't know how dumb your partner is after living with them for awhile, the person you need to point fingers at is you. If you're frustrated by your choice of women's lack of logical reasoning, ask yourself why you insist on living with women who lack these skills.

To those who feel frustrated by "stupid" women, perhaps consider an idea presented by your more openly misogynistic brothers- they counter that intelligent, reasonable women are actually more masculine and that what you really should be seeking if you are a "real man" (their terms, not mine) is a stupid woman who by definition is more "feminine".

This seems to give the men some comfort, helps them save face (always important!) and reassures them that they are still "better".

Of course. I don't always run his errands (I have a medical condition that prohibits me from driving, so he does that) but I will walk to the grocery store on my way home from work and will pick up drycleaning, etc. I do my best to take care of myself and always look good, although admittedly I do so for my own self-esteem, not his (his reaction is always a plus, though!). My husband and I are both science/tech professionals and our individual 'image' has little influence over the others'; if we were both fashion models or socialites it might have some importance but in our world it is negligible. And the key to staying happily married, in my opinion, starts between the eyes and ends between the sheets.
