130 isn't that spectacularly high to begin with.

Mines 133 and nobody think's I'm special, lol. 100 is average...unfortunately. Used to be 110. People are getting dumber. Anyways, 130 is definitely higher then average, will probably put him in the top 2%. Nonetheless, there are plenty of kids out there with much higher IQ's.

Thats nothing. My IQ measured by MENSA is 138. I aced their prelim exam.

My wife's IQ is 142 and she has a genuine photographic memory. Her dad is a surgeon and is the same way.

Our kids inherited her gifts. Our 7 year old does algebra for fun.

This is all normal for white folks.

The US is number 26 with average IQ of 97.

Last link says the average in India is 82, so I guess the kid is pretty special.

They have also made our IQ tests easier due to humans being dumber than in the past. They keep the average at ~100, but since modern Americans are stupid a 160 IQ achieved today does not equal a 160 50 years ago.

I scored 158 (WAIS-IV) when going through the hiring process for my current job.

This placed me in the 99th percentile and made the difference in my getting the job.

Having said that, almost every modern study points out that EQ, or Emotional Intelligence, is a far better indicator regarding how successful a person will be in today's society.
