Re: Bacon
bacon doesnt taste good, if fried, grilled or raw, bacon sucks!
i allways feel like eating pringels (chemical and biological formed elements to taste like it would be real food).

my favourites are spaghetti bolognese, steak medium with french fries and beans, sausages + bbsteak grilled with french fries and some vegetables. Pizaa is also nice if u buy it from a local pizza restaurant, frozen pizza in discounter makes me puke!

i buy flesh from a local farmer that is butching the animals by himself.

bacon is such a over-used word, the world thinks retarded ass-clowns in the USA only want bacon to be satisfied, tragedy.

The Definitive Guide to Bacon
[link to www.nerdfitness.com]

"Bacon comes from a pig.

Hopefully you already knew that. But you may not have known that bacon has been around since 1500 BC! It’s no wonder why this food is so delicious…it’s had a long time to be perfected.

Bacon tends to come from a particular part of a pig, as different types of meat can be gleaned from different parts of the pig: ham, pork, bacon, and so on.

That’s right Homer, a pig is a magical animal!

Bacon is generally prepared from the belly of a pig (AKA pork belly), though outside of the US it might be more common to use loin (Canada) or shoulder cuts (Europe). Once the pork is cut from the pig, it’s “cured” (a way of preparing meat) using a boatload of salt and sugar and either dry-packed or brined (with salt and sugar); oftentimes nitrates are used as well (which we’ll get to in a minute). At this point, the meat can be dried for weeks or months, smoked (i.e. hung up and exposed to smoke from wood burning), or boiled.

The salting of meat is how food stayed edible way back in the day, before Doc Brown invented the refrigerator.

If it’s only been smoked or dried (instead of boiled), it’s the type of bacon you cook before eating."

Marks Daily Apple

"As always, I’d recommend finding pork that’s antibiotic and hormone-free. Check the ingredients and look for the most natural list you can get. The more commercial the product, the more likely that list contains additives you don’t need. (The specially labeled “microwave” bacon isn’t worth picking up off the shelf.) Beyond that, there are organic options and “pastured,” which usually means part pasture and part grain/other vegetarian feed. If you’re choosing between fully organic or partially pastured, it can be a toss up. There are plenty of options, however, for pastured and organic/almost organic. Check out the Eat Wild and Local Harvest sites for pastured options in your neck of the woods, and for a little entertainment have fun perusing this bacon of the month club. There’s no assurance of pastured or antibiotic-free, but how can you beat a complimentary pig nose?"
