I've done both ways. Sober is more potent even though it doesn't feel like it sometimes. That and you don't look like shit because you're ragged out shit.

I have had some decent experiences while sober but DMT by far has provided me with the most profound experiences. Also just because you don't ingest a substance doesn't me that there are no chemicals involved your brain/material body produces tons of chemicals including small amounts of DMT...
