Feds Raid Family Grocery Store's Checking Account Over Innocent Bank Deposits
they did nothing wrong and broke no law....

"Government bullies are taking the little guy's milk money.

Earlier this year, without warning, the federal government seized the store's entire bank account—more than $35,000—and refuses to give it back. The government falsely accused Terry and Sandy of breaking anti-money-laundering laws by making frequent bank deposits of their store's cash receipts. But they did nothing illegal and have been charged with no crime. In July, the government filed a lawsuit to keep the money, not against Terry and Sandy but against the cash itself, which is why the case has the bizarre title of United States v. $35,651.11."

So many Americans still don't think nor believe that the Government can do anything do your bank accounts too. The sad truth is having a bank account is REQUIRED if you're going to do any online shopping. Physical shopping at a brick and mortar store, I think doesn't require a bank account but with this survelliance state of our's if you're walking around with any somewhat large or bigger amounts of cash on yourself from what I've been reading on various sites for years now any cop can shoot you dead and or simply rob you for literally reason he or she wants. The cop or cops will get Experience Points for what they do to you and social status upgrades. The only upgrade you'll get is death... if you're lucky. I really wish paranoia wasn't such a nessessity in today's horrifying world. But pertaining to the video specifically I can't say I've ever heard of that "Law". Probably one of the great many Laws that were written in when noone but the evil doing politicians and "others" themselves were looking. May that family owning that small grocery store actually get their damn money back and the Government learns the impossible to fuck off.

Federal civil forfeiture law features an appalling lack of due process: It empowers the government to seize private property from Americans without ever charging, let alone convicting, them of a crime. Perversely, the government then pockets the proceeds while providing no prompt way to get a court to review the seizure.
