A NJ School Board Official Blames 'Parents who Smoke Pot' for Opposition to Drug Testing Policy.

OLD TAPPAN — A member of the Northern Valley Regional school board is defending her recent social media posts blaming "parents who smoke pot" for their opposition to a proposal that would allow the district to randomly subject many students to drug tests.

The Record reports that Kathy Fable made the remarks in a closed Facebook group, Old Tappan Moms.

"Should we be acting on the demands of the parents who smoke pot with their kids … or think that high school is the most appropriate time for kids to ‘experiment’ with drugs?” she wrote, according to the paper.
