After the ruling the Russian court made a bold move to ban the Qur’an from Russia and not allowing it to be translated or distributed in Russian. They also recognized possession and distribution of the Qur’an as extremist. Russia's government is making the USA look pathetic. |

The court banned the specific translation of the Qur’an into Russian made by Elmir Kuliev. The translation recognized as valid whithin the salafi extremist groups inside Russia. To promote muslim extremism in Russia Saudi backed russian salafists stepped off the dogma that only Arabic reading of the Qur’an is acceptable by all muslims. |
