In all seriousness I will be watching this closely....we have shut down before without shtf...but I feel we might be in an area of particular vulnerabity.

The only way you would be a Republican as a woman in this day and age is because you have a rich Republican husband supporting your ass. So seriously, spare me the very offensive single woman playing in the ocean breakers because if she's single, she is doing it all herself probably with gov help if she has kids.

This is stupid and sets a bad precedent. I understand you all hate it, but it's the law. The congress passed it, we all know that the house and the senate. The lpresident signed it and the Supreme Court interpreted it as constitutional. it's the law. we can debate if its good or bad but it's the law. There are many who thinks social security and Medicare is bad but they are the law. If republicans want to not fund a law because they don't like it, what will keep democrats from tearing down the second amendment or not funding the government. It sets a bad precedent for the future, one that republicans are setting and can come down to bite them so hard that it will change the country to a scary level. Again democrats are holding ground because they are funding what's already a US law, they have the merits and most Americans see it that way. Republican Party is going to lose on this issue and be less compeitive because of this stance.
