Re: Nuclear Bomb in new simpsons episode
Do you remember the one last season where they had all the Anti-Russian jokes and Bart is seemingly performing a concerto at a piano recital when in reality he puts a CD in and is pretending to play the piano?

Are they telling us stuff or just picking up on counter-culture and making remarks? Even though that episode had to be written and drawn before all of these political happenings and the Boston Marathon.

Or maybe this episode was just a spoof of a typical 'Homeland' episode, I've never watched that show so I don't know.

The Bipolar meds stuff was weird too.

I haven't watched it yet, but I recorded it!
On the day when the wagons come
I just pray that you let me on

Matthew 6:9-13

King James Version (KJV)

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Matthew 24:42 - Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

I noticed that as well. I'm not a kid and have been a Simpsons fan for ever. The episode was creepy to me. Simpsons can be odd ball and very weird, but not really creepy. Among a lot of other things, there was a lot of charterer "whispering" in the episode.

I would say that episode was written more to communicate something weird than to entertain... There was nothing funny about it.

Well, to be honest The Simpsons isn't really a funny show anymore. More like just a couple funny moments in a show. But you're right, this show was not a bit funny.

The fox is in the coop.

The dog is eating the corn.

.... Yeah, reminded me of weird cryptic messages like you hear on the radio during wars. Definitely a message being sent to someone.
Wizard's Rule #1: "People are stupid. Given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. People will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool."
Primordial Rule: "The rule unwritten. It is the secret of all life. It is the essence of life itself. You are a creator and master of your own reality. You ultimately make your own rules."

Perhaps the "conspiracy theories" are becoming mainstream. They do keep tabs on what people do on the internet and use it for marketing research. At Barnes and Nobles the other day I saw a bunch of books on Free Masons and other pop culture conspiracy things like that marked down to $8. Perhaps unemployed losers in their 20's and early 30's with plenty of spare time (such as moi) are becoming a larger and larger demographic which Hollywood is now catering to?

Re: Nuclear Bomb in new simpsons episode
there was a scene where it showed bart in bed with a krusty picture next to him. next shot is a closeup, and now the clock magically appears with the time either 1:50 or 1:55 depending on how you read it. IOW....10/2 maybe 11/2.
