NASA in a panic -- 50 percent chance of impact on May 25!
|
ESA in Germany User ID: 94549 5/17/2006 9:43 AM Report abusive post | NASA in a panic -- 50 percent chance of impact on May 25!
| Quote |
I live in Darmstadt, Germany, and do contract work for the European Space Agency (ESA). They are saying privately that NASA in America is "sweating blood" over projections for fragments of the incoming comet 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann.
The ESA is disputing the 50 percent postulation, but concedes a 1 in 3 chance of an "extinction-level" Atlantic impact. It may cause a tsunami.
I'll update later if I can bring you more infos. |

It'd take more than a comet fragment to cause an E.L.E.
At least if you are gonna fake it, get your facts right dick weed. |

At the same time, I'm very highly qualified and I'm not stupid. I'm not just any old contractor and some of the colleagues who work at the ESA are also personal contacts. They don't lie to me.
If you're interested, I'll update and it won't cost you a single cent. If not, then I won't waste my time here. |

Uh huh.
Guess you and they are taking the extinction event seriously then?
"Shall we start hurriedly making plans to try and survive this awful catastrophe bearing down upon us? Or panic even just a little bit?"
"Nah, let's keep punching the clock at our job and go out for a beer afterwards"
Here's a lesson Mommy obviously hasn't got around to teaching you yet, Junior Trollboy: it's not nice to yank the chains of the mentally ill. It doesn't prove you are smart or funny, it shows you are a petulant adolescent with control issues. Do something useful with your life. |

Boys, impacts are going to happen, but not yet. 2010 onwards is more probably. |

I'll do that right after I submit my DNA sample and retina scan to the Department of Fatherland Security, so I can get on the plane without being strip searched all the time.
