I hate to burst your bubble, but all these broad sweeping dictatorial powers that Obama is abusing were granted to the office of the President under the last administration. The used the term "Unitary Executive" to justify much of it. Then there's the whole "It's wartime! In wartime, the president can do whatever he wants to!"
People tried to warn you about these abuses and the potential for further abuses, but were shouted down by conservatives who claimed it was "just some Liberals opinion", or "sour grapes from partisan Bush Bashers". then was my favorite, which was essentially that anyone who opposed Bush's power grab "loved terrorism" and "wanted to see America fail", and were branded as "traitors". Anyone else remember these things? I listened to that shit for 8 years. But now that it's a black Democrat in the White House, it's suddenly a real problem. This boss = same as the last boss = same as the one before him. And through it all, the banking cabal continues to run the world, though they do change puppets every 4-8 years to make it look like we have an actual working democracy.
In short, I would love the opportunity to embrace my dictator(s), but so far they refuse to step out from behind the curtain and announce themselves. They continue to operate through the Democrat (dog) and Republican (pony) show in Washington. Do you think it's a coincidence that no matter if we have a Republican or Democrat in office, the wealthiest keep getting wealthier and the rest of us are screwed, and every policy is geared at continuing that trend?

I tried to warn people about this stuff myself "back in the day". In addition to the accusations of "hating America", I was branded "an alarmist" and "moonbat crazy paranoid conspiracy theorist", and in many cases by the very same people who now regard this as a real problem.

Same here. I was laughed at and ridiculed. Who's laughing now? I never bought the official 9/11 story, NEVER!! Building 7 simply was too obvious..... I am very knowledgable about methods of social controls and psychology.
