There REALLY IS something strange in western sky around sunset...!!!

NASA has discovered a massive object approaching the Local Group of galaxies. First discovered when it was still a over a million light-years from the edge of the galaxy, the object is approaching at nearly half the speed of light. It is approximately 10 light-years across. It has a mass of 100 billion suns. And it is clearly and unmistakably artificial.

Because this thread has evolved into looking at more than 1 obect, i believe the red star i saw again tonight almost due north, also other strange sights at sunset, 2 starlike obejects appearing then gone? in the area of the sunset, thought i might have saw the original posted for this thread but way too many contrails and chemtrails to confirm. Heads up folks theese are strange times!

From northern Maine last night: flashing star-like object showing different colors--blue, red, yellow, white. Visible from around 6:45-7:17 PM ET (MUCH LATER AND DARKER) at around 290-295 degrees. Watched it as is just suddenly disappeared, i.e. did not gradually dip to the horizon and disappear, but just vanished at 7:17 PM.

THIS OBJECT MATCHES IN ALL RESPECTS THE RECENT EXCELLENT VIDEO POSTED HERE BUT IS DIFFERENT FROM THE OBJECT SEEN AT 255 DEGREES JUST AFTER SUNSET.

To know and observe an OBVIOUS AND BLATANT ASTRONOMICAL ANOMALY is not to promote the woo-woo theories out there as to what it might be.

Rational observers are not to be classified EITHER with the knowing and purposeful DENIERS here, NOR with the nut jobs who believe it's a planet-sized space ship filled with little green invaders.

For all we know, the world exists inside the grooves of a metaphysical disc, like phonographic records inside a juke box. Some things are impossible to know from the perspective inside this world.

It's best to just pay attention and trust that there are objects being seen in the sky which are unexplained by mainstream modern science. Lay back and look at the entire sky sometime. You could be in for a few surprises.

I got fantastic siesta key shots last nights (I saw the amazing light colors and throbbing ). .. My camera actually captured something too!

i just heard of some friends here in romania who saw the strange object, and then went on to research it on the net

i haven't had a chance to look at the sunset yet so i can't comment

but nevertheless Geo as an amateur astronomer you know the thrill of discovering something you still don't understand...
even if afterwards you find the explanation for the mystery...
these are 2 sides of the same coin...

and all in all i am happy that many people are starting to watch the sky and feel that thrill...
maybe they will find the explanations later...

Northern Maine again:

I think what I reported on last night is Arcturus. On the web it is described as being traceable from the end of the handle of the Big Dipper. Went out again tonight, saw the same object, and it fits that locational description.

If it's NORTH of where the Sun went down, it's Arcturus.

That does NOT explain the object at 255 I've seen three times now...

This thread is one month old today and still no quality pics of this object that rivals Venus in brightness.

That is rather strange no?

No more sightings because it is now behind the sun.
Give it a few weeks and it will be back, this time on the right of the sun.
