No, and don't understand what you are talking about. I am posting random pictures of the sky in Atlanta on different days, from different locations, at different times of day/night...Whatever you see, is what you see and you and everyone else sees. You will have to reconcile that with whatever you want. I can't do that for you. Got those Lens Flare Planet pics, yet? $300 cash waiting for you.

Thank you for posting the pictures.

They are asking that, because with the low resolution pictures that we are saving, we don't see the cable crossing it. You are going to get a lot of criticism because if they enlarge your images as I have done, they will see a very poor resolution image and you will not be able to get your point across.

I cropped and enhanced it. Look... [link to i.imgur.com]

I am now completely confused by the enhanced photos. Before I continue, I admit that I am 99% stupid about astronomy and photography, but I don't understand why the black line is not clearly visible in the enhancement -- at least not to me (or am I blind?) -- in the enhanced photo. Also, how much did you enhance it because it looks pretty awesome?!!

And, to put my two cents in, PLEASE stop with the childish back-and-forth. It is apparent that neither Dr. Astro nor 3rdEyeE is stupid, and I don't think either one is lying, even though one is obviously -- and I think honestly -- mistaken about what the mystery object is or isn't. Why can't you just leave it at that and show each other some respect? (And please don't come back with "He started it" or "I will after he does." Talk about childish!!

Me too, 99% stupid that is. What I think Erik is saying is the image that Astromut showed was SO enhanced that the brightness of the object overshadowed the power line, thus making it appear to be in front of the line. Just two clicks, I presume means, two degrees less enhancement would show the line in front of the object.

Oh boy. OK people. It is sooo simple. I use Irfanview, it is free and everybody should use it, and I only reduced brightness, contrast and gamma.

The other two people who got huge squares only, could have done MUCH better. The resolution is very low but not THAT low to only show squares. You saw mine. That was picture num 4.
