I was not misusing the apps. I have geo location enabled on my iphone and it works perfect for navigation. Then I installed the 3 sky watch apps, did callibrate them and pointed them at the same star, each app giving me a "slightly" different position, "slightly" meaning it was basically facing the right and same direction, but it was still off by a few centimeters, which is then showing a totally different star/constellation. So if two of the three apps would have shown the same, I would trust them to work but since none of the three agreed, I don't know which one is working. I deleted them all. |

You could, by moving around your "cam" (Smartphone I guess) move this object to wherever you want. Please cover up the lens as much as possible and try to see this object isolated of the sun object within a litte whole or something on the occulter you choose to use. You will hardly be able to do so and I guess you know that already?  |

It is exactly as it is in the original image, every pixel is simply made larger by an equal amount in order to show the flare in detail and that the power line does not run through it. |
