Giant explosion and sky lit up north of Auburn
My kids and I saw the sky light up and heard an explosion at about 10:20pm. Just checked the weather and no storms for miles and miles....strange.

Honestly it sounded like a transformer blowing up , but the whole sky lit up like lightning. I have heard trnsformers blow up before but not lighting up the entire northern sky.

I have an electronic engineering degree. It was comparable to a transformer explosion but the ammount of light was in no way from a transformer.
