The Devil's Promenade: Inside the rural American town haunted by mysterious light that even Army engineers are at a loss to explain
On a road outside Joplin, Missouri, where the rolling Ozarks merge into the endless flatness of Oklahoma and Kansas, locals report seeing a light called the Spook Light
The anomaly is variously described as a golden, red, or blue light but is always seen as one or more floating orbs
In the early 1940s, the Army Corps of Engineers studied the lights in a failed attempt to scientifically explain them. Read more: [link to www.dailymail.co.uk]

So...nobody has tried to explain it scientifically since the 1940s?

Seems there'd have been a few small advances in technology since then...

"Marfa Lights" in Marfa, Texas are more famous and still unknown.

it is about the same as seen at skinwalker ranch utah, only the lights and actions at skinwalker have had some very very strange and dangerous results, billionare bob bigelow has hired a team of scientists to study the ranchs paranormal events but hasnt been making his findings available to the general public. my personal favorite was when the previous owners first moved in , the whole family was gathered outside early am when all of a sudden a large wolf started walking passivly up to the family very meekly and unalarming as it was. it got right next to the owner and kids when all of a sudden it grabbed a small calf and was trying to pull it out and most likely eat it, the rancher shot this wolf point blank 2-3 times with a pistol at close range it didnt even flinch, then he grabbed a elephant gun and shot it the wolf just moved a little bit but it didnt hurt it and it ran into the woods when they tracked the foot prints in after it they stopped at one point and that was it it was GONE.
