The driver did nothing. You can watch the whole video and see the driver did nothing to provoke the attack other than being there on the highway. Just keep living in your delusional world that the driver did something to provoke this outrageous attack on him. These bikers are known to be aggressive and are known to attack other vehicles, get over yourself.

Based on my experience with those biker idiots (I encountered them in Staten Island a while ago) he was provoked into whatever might have happened earlier, too.

Look, the cops see this, they know the bikers have been acting like assholes, and they figure that the real cause of the problem is the bikers. So they're not going to charge the poor guy who gets caught in their provocation.

I guess that's what is happening. Most of you have never encountered bikers like this. I never have, bikers are usually some of the safest vehicles on the road, and I've been around plenty of "convoys" of bikers.

You do realize this biker gang are NOTORIOUS for this type of attacks in NYC? Do you realize that the police set up check points and prevented most of them from entering the city? Do you realize that NYPD are hunting down all these bikers due to other attacks orchestrated by this group, not just this SUV driver?

So where is THAT video? With all the other vids they posted that make them look like terrorizing punks, wouldn't they post the ONE that shows they weren't in the wrong?!

I saw lane splitting of stationary or slow moving traffic, overtaking, some undertaking which over in the UK would be a no-no but no dangerous riding, or least, by European standards there was diddly squat there to be worried about.

The spic on the bike purposely slowed down in front of the SUV, to bad he is asian, a normal person would of rammed these bikes left and right if they attacked a vehicle.

That's debatable. If they felt the SUV driver was a danger to other cyclists they had a right to intervene in his actions, by law.

I was once cut off by a guy in an SUV who made a right turn at an intersection right in front of me. I barely avoided him. When we both got caught at a light, I got off my bike , kickstanded it, and walked up to his window, which he rolled down and started shouting obscenities at me before I could get a word out.Bad mistake.

I took his keys and phone and called the cops and just waited for them to come. Traffic was going past in the other lane (one way street), and the SUV guy got all puffed up and threatening like he was going to shoot me or something. he said he had a gun and was going to shoot me at least three times.

What a fucking stupid ass he was with his mouth...Luckily for me my 2 friends riding with me backed up my story and the cops looked at the mans phone and concluded I was telling the truth . he WAS charged and CONVICTED of reckless endangerment and reckless driving, two separate charges .

I was called to testify but the guy pleaded guilty to a probation plea bargain and I never did have to.


That's what talking on a cell phone and almost running someone over is charged as in Texas.

yeah, a victim of unfortunate circumstance. Wrong place at wrong time. He was with his bike rider friends, stopped when they stopped.... I admit, my position is most definitely biased. No doubt about it. I've been almost killed too many times not to know how it feels. And some asshole in an SUV is usually the culprit. There is something about the personality of people who buy them goddamned things that makes them into thoughtless, careless assholes.

I would say over the 30+ years I've been riding, 85% of my near death experiences were caused by SUV's in the past 20 years, almost all distracted by phones, 10% by regular autos, and the other 5% by professional drivers and drunken fools.

The most significant trend is that since cell phones became so popular, it's very dangerous to ride, much more so than 20 years ago. YOU MUST ASSUME no one in a cage sees you!

This incident is a sad reflection on your society Yankees. Everyone blames everyone else it s no ones fault off course. The fact is that the bikers were behaving like an unrully mob and showing total disregard for road rules and safety. I ve been a rider for over 20 years and I would not be caught dead riding with such a bunch of yahoos. Based on the videos I have seen of this their egos far outweighs their riding abilities.
As far as the range rover driver is concerned he is a murderer. The worse kind on top of that.
Family on board or not the orginal incident was a minor one it could have been dealt with easily even if tempers were flaring. I doubt very much that your society has decended so low that it would have required a gun to deal with what is essencially a simple motor vehicle collision.
But no, too much of a coward he had to kill someone who for all we know was someons son or husband or father. All that for what? a perceived threat from the bike riders???
