Several of my friends work for the USGS. They went in, were told to leave their laptops and shut everything down.
They are trying to bring the pain so that we embrace our dictator......or revolt.
This is a social manipulation tactic.
I'm almost 100% convinced.

It makes no difference anyway, the truth is they have no real standing, people will still go to work and do the same old stuff and function just the same in the same old way, it will have no effect whatsoever. It shut down before and it was business as usual which shows they are a waste of space protecting the old boys network. They get extra time off on pay, probably to all congregate in the masses for some ritual or something, than all will back as nothing has happened. I can't wait until we can determine where this is headed....I don't think it will be good for us.
