Probably the Single Greatest Reason people don't believe in God.

i believe the Holy Spirit gives every man the innate belief in God.

many reject that belief because once you come to the conclusion that there is a God, then you have to have a response to that. you have to decide whether or not to make Him Lord of your life.

most folks would rather not have to make that decision...so they put blinders on.

That inner voice telling us what to do is disregarded so often it becomes absent. People would rather seek pleasure than spiritual things... simple as that.

Lets examine the word "Lord".

To most people, the first thought that comes to mind is King/Ruler.

What do most people think of with King/Ruler. Well IMO oppression,control etc.

Most people don't associate "King" with "Leader". A true Leader will listen to the views and opinions of his followers and gain feedback before making a decision.
God wouldve destroyed Israel if it wasnt for Moses pleaing for them. God listens to feedback and opinions of those who follow him. He reserves the right to make the final decision, but i believe he will consider your opinions.

Then there is people who don't like his decisions. His decisions are for Mankind as a Whole, and not for a single person. He is no respector of persons. All his decisions and choices are whats best for ALL. But other people think their view is best, but they don't have the wisdom and foresight that God has, so they aren't qualified to make the decisions.

I reject the idea of a God of Eternal Punishment. Period.
You will never convince me that a God that sends people to Hell to suffer forever is a God of "love & forgiveness". Never.

That's why I reject it. Not because I need a 30 minute synopsis.

I don't believe in an eternal hell. Most people don't realize that the Churches are controlled. They are the Synagagous of Satan which teach Fear and Eternal Punishment, to prevent people from developing a relationship with God. People go to Church, trying to start a relationship with him, and don't realize it Takes time, and no man alive can teach you to hear God's voice. It all comes on YOU to put in the effort to do so. IT TAKES TIME.

People get discouraged when they see no Results from attending church and come up to the conclusion that God doesnt exist and is a scam. That is the whole point of Churches, to get people to think that. To give people "False Hope" that they are saved just because they believe that Jesus died for us. Jesus did die for us, but its not what most people think.

Everything was created from God, so therefore we shouldn't harm anything or anybody.

I think it could be because gods were man invented entities for power control and profit. If it demands worship or money...it ain't a higher power or anything else but someones delusional fantasy.

The Bible is written in a way, that at first it appears he is All Controlling and Eternal Punishment. For those who are "not worthy" thats what they will come to. But for the true and patient seekers, eventually you will be able to read the scriptures and see the true meaning.

For Example - Fast. and Eating.

Most people think fasting is not eating.
Not Eating Physical food.

I tend to think it really means to Stop Reading Scriptures.
Fast from Scriptures. Why? So your spirit can process the knowledge that you read subconciously, i.e "digest it".

Have you ever notice that when you read the Bible, after a while you tend notice your reading the same verses over and over again. You naturally read the same portion a few times in a row and can't seem to progress forward?

Thats your cue to know that your "spiritual stomach" is full and you need to fast from reading so it can digest.
The More you eat, the more your spiritual stomach expands and the more you can read at a time.

Another thought. I'd rather be in Darkness, so I can see the Light and learn. When you are in the Light, you can't see other light. Think about it for a second. Consider the headlights of your car, is it easier to see them during the day or night?

Light is Knowledge. Knowledge is Power. Seek Heavenly Knowledge, not Earthly knowledge.

I've notice during my Journey, I have been instinctly sticking my finger in my ears from time to time. I am "cleaning out my spiritual ears" so I can hear his voice directly.

During your journey you will notice things like this. Your body will seem to be trying to talk to you. THAT IS GOD! Giving you some kinda proof that he is working on you.
Learn what each part of your body means during your journey, and it will help you.

During your journey, you will do many foolish things, and will have many different beliefs. Keep an Open mind, and be willing to get rid of ALL your beliefs at a single moment. Its only when you think you know everything, that you really know nothing.

Your entire nation of "God" or "Lord" has been entirely enstilled in you by other men and a book. Free your mind.

Trust me, I know there is a God. No amount of deception and physical "proof" can change my mind on that. Now exactly who he is, and how he works...that is still a work in progress.

Look at nature and all its complexity. You think that just came into being without a creator? Evolution? All the species on Earth came because of a Fish that crawled onto land?

Big Bang Theory? One day the universe decides to say hey you know what, I am going to expand?

Which God?

There seem to be quite a few.

I agree, I believe there is MANY GODS. But ultimately One Creator.

I also think these Many Gods, is the Creator, or a piece of the Creator. But in all reality that all these many gods are just a different "side" of the Creator.

Wow, one of the best answers I've heard in my life.

If it s a Misunderstanding, then it is my own Misunderstanding. These are conclusions and beliefs I have come up with on my own, believe God to be teaching me based on a couple of expierences that have proven to me that God is real. I don't believe in Coincidences anymore.

A Dream where I was of future events to happen, which happened. Also Basic Knowledge told to me in that dream, planted in my subconcious that I have "unlocked" piece by piece as time goes on.

A couple instances where my "Mind" controlled itself and talked to me as much as I tried to prevent it from happening.

A conversation with a woman where "my mouth" took control of itself, and had a whole conversation with her, while being flabbergasted that I had no control of my speech or what I was saying.

What is the One Condition that has No Condition?
