Hey, where the hell are the ISON pics from Mars Rover?

That's right! Mars Rover should have a pretty good view given the close proximity of this comet today. Dang government shutdown is ruining all the fun!...or is it just the needed distraction?

Snip1; So, for people concerned about whether the Mars missions will be observing comet ISON as planned today, as it makes its closest approach to Mars: yes, that should continue, barring unforeseen problems.

How can NASA still operate these missions? Because these are not government facilities. JPL is privately run, by the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), and is under contract to NASA. APL is operated by Johns Hopkins University, also a contractor to NASA. As such, they have funds in the bank already to continue operating these missions for a while. Veronica told me that all missions across NASA are expected to be maintained during the shutdown, and that at JPL, people are today reporting to work as usual.


Snip2; One thing that will change is that there will be no press releases coming out of JPL missions, and no updates to JPL's websites, because all of that requires review from civil servants at NASA Headquarters, who are now furloughed. Since the mission websites will grow increasingly stale, the website for the missions may get taken down. They are up at present, but they can't be updated. Veronica didn't know when or if that might happen. All mission Twitter feeds are going silent because of the unavailability of Headquarters oversight.

NASA is part of the DoD look it up. Most parts of DoD will be unaffected by the shut down. BTW we all knew these pictures wouldn't be released, I can't wait to hear what the excuse is this time.

Well, So much for me thinking NASA's "MARS" rover and "Mars" recon satellite's as being legit. The gig is up. That's why no pix are out of the "Comet of the Century" as it interacted with Mars. And is NOT because of the Government shut down. They just tried and failed to launch a friggen simple BALLOON into space! [link to www.nbcnews.com] They are doing this ballon launch as a last ditch move to get some non simulated pix of ISON for the gullible tax payers who paid a few billion for a "MARS" recon pix and "MARS" Rover Cam(IE: A Billion dollar MOJAE CAM housed in a cheap washing machine with some exposed wires to make it look all technical). Have doubts on what I say? Specifically we know where this hunk of pure fraud is broadcasting from. Remember the "cross" that was seen on "MARS"?
