the only reason they got in yesterday was the guards refused to arrest them, when the military starts refusing orders to arrest citizens because the orders are unjust then the govt no longer has any power over the people, its what happened in soviet union when it fell, and now it must happen here.

So...for a place that has no cost (if only a trash man) now has a cost of renting barriers, placing barriers, paying mounted police (including feed for horses) to harass veterans whom the monument honors.

In other words, during a financial shutdown, they are SPENDING MONEY to stop people from viewing a monument. All they had to do was hire one person to charge $2 a person to view the memorial with the excuse of the government shutdown. Veterans would get in for free. Then they would be making a PROFIT off a place that normally has no cost or profit.

This is just vindictive behavior.
