That's a fact. Hence, most of Delta comes from Green Berets, Army Rangers and ect. Nevertheless, Delta asks you to join. Quoting: Machine 12111453 SAS: the model of Speical Forces. You have to ask to join. Spetsnaz: Brutal training. ect....... Fyi, SAS helped Delta stand up as a unit, and it is no longer Delta. Sure that's what we know them as, but they have had a couple name changes. |

Quoting: ApakalypsetemplaR Considering all you've said so far clearly comes from a movie i know you were never there. Sorry my friend but ill take my history books as well first hand accounts written by soldiers who state themselves they ran for most of the fight. Good lord man your American bravado is pathetic Well I for one think the Canadian poster super cool because of the way he bashes the US. He is obviously a superior being because of Canada's military might. I'd hope Canada's or any army's special forces are good, after all there are like what, 40 guys in the military there. Training then should be pretty easy. lol, They probably have retired US doing the training. |

We also have one of the best special forces teams in the world JTF2. |

Quoting: ApakalypsetemplaR Dont be foolish and call someone ignorant when there are plenty of videos showing exactly what im talking about. Such as when the Americans use "Live fire" they fire said weapons over the heads of the crawling soldiers while the Russian fire that live ammo right at the soldiers just short of hitting them. Your Army has been a laughing stock for the past 40 years. JTF2 have proven themselves, The spetsnaz has proved themselves more times than i can count on one hand. I am looking at countless events of Delta basically having to retreat to enemies who have half the gear they have. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 49803367 Japan 11/20/2013 03:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Actually no. Delta goes to the SAS for training, and the Force recon boys flunked out of the survival course on the 2nd or third day. The SAS have been the staple of what it means to be coordinated and tough. The spetsnaz are basically identical to the SAS as far as brutal training is concerned. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 43642585 The Seals and Delta force both i know do not hit their own soldiers to get them ready for pain they must endure. If you want the best. the FFL, the Spetsnaz , Gurkha and SAS along with JTF2 are considered the best. Most people across the world do not see the Marines or American army as anything but a joke. This is truth!! SAS are better than All other special forces. FACT. |

INLA kicked some SAS soldiers unconscious, beating them to a pulp, while villagers watched & cheered, till the Guardia stepped in to stop it. Drunks on a typical weekend in UK city centres are pretty friggin tough. I've watched the police been beaten senseless by Liverpool footie fans outside a London pub. Ultimate has to be NWO thugs like Mossad & Banking bodyguards. Non human bodyguards can beat 'any' human being. |

A crowd of fifty people beating one/two persons is the typical Irish way. Cowards all of them. That's why they surrendered to the superior British. Thugs are not tough, again more cowards with a pack mentality. Footie fans are just drunken idiots who pick on the weak. They are not tough either. |

Never shall I leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy |

The CF's Leopard tanks were originally designed to take on Soviet armour of the 1960s and '70s. It's true they have been updated periodically over the years, but upgrading an old tank does not a produce a "modern" tank. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 46648385 United States 11/22/2013 08:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Fuk the SAS. What are they fighting for? Their socialized heath care? They are not even trusted to own a handgun once they get out of the service. Their country has no right of self defense and is being overrun by muslims. Merkins fight for freedom or at least we did until the muslim marxist was elected. Now no one with 1/2 a brain would fight for either the UK or the USA. |

They usually do 6 to 8 man teams and have the most advanced technology. They have x-ray scanners that can see things on different dimensions. EMP grenades ect. You just can't beat them. Anonymous Coward User ID: 45979659 United Kingdom 11/22/2013 09:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Consider this tricky social situation. You have invited the head of an African state to your wedding but unfortunately a Marxist group has launched a coup in his country on your big day. You offer your sympathies but feel you should do more. Being a friend of the family you offer to retake his capital, airport and radio station. Round up the rebels and free his large family who are being held hostage. All this must be done in secret without any special vehicles or heavy weapons. How many SAS should you send to do the job? The correct answer is 2 [link to www.eliteukforces.info] One thing that is not mentioned very often about the SAS is that there is a lot of very clever people in the regiment. Doctors, engineers, linguists, independent thinkers who are very adapbtable. |
