The other day the president pointed out that we weren't paying attention. That we didn't build the massive federal debt. He said somebody else made that happen. He told us that he tripled the federal debt - the government burdened our children with a debt they will never be able to pay. We didn't build that he barked! The government made that happen!

We are being held hostage by a massive debt that has to be paid but the tax payers have been squeezed dry.

It is most likely that even in face of disagreements, people are very polite and well mannered, however.

Appears to be scripted,I found it odd that at least two people shook his hand while they said "thank you for your service" which was directed at Obama. That type of thank you even from a Democratic who might support him is completely out of place.

Very fake, why would the secret service allow a stroll down the sidewalk when just days prior they had to kill a "crazy woman" trying to drive up to the white house?

Unfortunately not true, it was announced today that while they aren't getting paid now, when they do get paid all pay will be retroactive from the beginning of the shutdown. So they will simply get a big paycheck when they go back to work.

On top of that, practically ALL federal employees are paid monthly, they already received their paycheck the first of the month, they won't be even slightly hurt unless the shutdown lasts longer than October!!

The shutdown is nothing but smoke and mirrors.

Yeah right that was prob his double and the people are all actors and there is a blue screen behind them, he wouldn't have ate that cookie without his "taster" slave trying it first lol There also would have been way more secret service thugs, I'm not buying it at all with an actual approval rating of maybe 30%(entitlement crowd)
