There is one MAJOR reason men do not get vasectomies.

Getting a vasectomy destroys sperm production. When the vas deferens are unable to transfer sperm, it triggers the body to stop sperm production. This triggers a chemical reaction in the testes to stop testosterone production.

When testosterone production stops, premature aging begins, and a sharp increase in being highly susceptible to diseases/conditions begins (especially cancers).

This is the exact equivalent biological response as a woman who gets a hysterectomy (which throws her into menopause).

SOME men may get vasectomies. Some don't.
It is their body, their choice.

Contraception is the responsibility of both men and women.
If you don't want babies AT ALL, either get a hysterectomy (rather than sterilisation to cancel out the rare chance of it failing) and always ensure you only have sex with a man who has had a vasectomy AND is wearing a condom, or become celibate.

Every method of contraception has a fail rate - even if it is very low.

Everyone knows childbirth is painful, no need to state the obvious to try to add weight to the argument - but that is the way it will always be.
It is impossible for a body to go through the biological process of pregnancy and birth without the woman feeling anything at all.

Don't blame men for choosing what happens to their body.

My husband suggested he have a vasectomy after we decided our family was complete.
I didn't want him to have one because it didn't seem fair to me for him to have his body surgically altered unnecessarily. And of course there is the small risk of the vasectomy failing.

Yes, I had been through childbirth, more than once, like millions of women, but females are the only sex who can produce offspring so that is something you are just gonna have to deal with.
