**We NEED to stop funding Indians to be separate from the greater American Culture and "allow" them to be part of the greater economic dynamic of the American Economy.


**Allow the "Indians" to have their own religion and religious leaders (like various Christian sects do, Jewish sects have, etc.) but otherwise totally remove government recognition from ALL Indian groupings and ANY special treatment that they receive that is different from any other organized religion.


**Time to more forward now that we are in the 21st centruy and get rid of ALL government support of "Indians" as anyting special or different.

President Obama says many people are offended by the Washington Redskins name and he uses the media to make his point. Well, I am offended that President Obama decides to vocalize support for a name change of a football team but he will do nothing about the fact that thousands of Native Americans do not even have running water in their homes and some Indian reservations are damn near close to a third world condition. The president is misguided on what is important.
