If you didn't learn anything else under Bush you should have learned that the president can assume ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY under the guise of national security and there's nothing congress or anyone else can do about it. As for the legitimacy of the national security issue, that is for the President to decide, and don't forget, he "IS THE DECIDER."

If Congress can ever their shit together and acually prove themselves useful by impeaching Obama, it wouldn't matter if the Senate refuses to vote for impeachment or not. It simply comes down to violations of law, in which the House has legal rights to force press charges against Obama that would require a dicision from the Supreme Court. Then it will not matter what the Senate decides, it will be a matter of law. The Supreme Court will then have to decide if the charges are in fact valid, and if valid, is Obama guilty. The Supreme Court does not have to decide whether the Senate has right to refuse, but whether the law was upheld or violated.

By taking this route, the House then bypasses the Senate and brings charges directly to the Supreme Court to decide. The Supreme Court can only decide if the charges are valid and Obama removed by Constitutional law,(this also removes Biden, and places the speaker of the House in the White House) or the charges are invalid and Obama is crowned as King of Noamerica.
