I think all stocks will take a hit initially, once PM's begin to move up, mining stocks will perform better than retail, that's for sure...

Yea I don't think they're done looting the us yet. Also the more we find out about obamacare the more it becomes apparent that it's all about control. They will know everything about us and the irs will make sure of compliance, whether from penalties or submission. Either way it will make us poorer. I also believe what you were told about obummer acting alone to raise the debt ceiling. I think that's the goal to take more power. None of this is an accident and is all moving them toward their goal.

Well the stock market has had a major boom this year, a correction of 5-10% in October will be nothing extra ordinary.

Lots of it will probably be going overseas. Many of the Central Banks have been complaining they haven't had enough cash for currency exchanges...there was even a lawsuit over it. Lots of electronic currency floating around, actual cash has been rare...

So are we just talking a scare to get their way,or the great depression era variety crash?

Fundamentally, the US economy is roaring hot in some places and ice cold in others. You simply need to know cycles.

There is a 100% chance Uncle Ben will inflate the dollar to buy some time starting in December. He'll buy 18-24 months according to Thomson and Warren with a 3% token which equates to ~6% for the consumer as gas and oil rise.

Then comes the switchback.

I propose the EURO will make the news again early next year as the unwind over there begins once again. Greece will begin to "pay back" with perpetual ponzi bonds, or those that are 50 to 100 years in maturity. But alas, 'til never happen. There will be no takers and once again Germany is stuck paying their bill, which they gladly will. Then comes Spain. Whoops! Everybody got so caught up in fake BS on Syria and gov't shutdown that they forgot about the biggest single threat to the EU and subsequently the world. If the S&P Downgrades (my source didn't say anything about this, but it is rumored) then it will be really bad. If it's just the banks selling on the stock market it will probably be a 10 to 20% move downward, and that would be the immediate extent of it.

When will the new Basel III Laws come into play, are they going to tied into this at the same time, new bills finally released, debt ceiling, gov shutdown?

True---bond prices will plummet, interest rates will soar, and the trillion dollar derivatives positions out there will cause cascading collapses in businesses and banks worldwide. This will result in bank holidays and panic as people realize that they cannot get their money out of the bank. Anyone with a mortgage will not be able to pay this mortgage off, and their home will be confiscated by the banks that own the privately held Federal Reserve.

Will you check it out for me real quick, its at $30 a share right now, but it looks like it was at $30,000 a share back in 08/09 when the market was tanking. Could that be accurate or is there a bunch of splits that just make it appear that way?
