It seems when local police want to issue a Amber Alert, they'll tell the Washington State patrol. Throught the State Dept of Transportation, alerts will go out. Then the WSP issues it state wide. I'd say it works the same all the other 49 times. With that said, anyone know if the State's funding comes from the government?
