Barack Obama has shut down the Amber Alert System

The White House is saying it is not actually a shutdown of the Amber Alert System, only a name change. In the future it will be known as the LaKeesha Alert System.

Got tired of the 24/7 adlert alert on my cell phone that I got from obama phone. Does not matter where you live. everytime a child went missing and got put into the database for missing child, they send out alerts.

27 times in one day!!! 5 days ago.

User error. You can disable that alert.
