Re: 5 Countries WIth Mars Orbiters - NO ISON PICTURES
Let me ask you something Astroslut.

Why did you fail to do any Ison broadcasting during the Mars passing? You did some before and then after the pass, why would you skip the most significant time to show the status of the object to the people?

And also, where can we find any footage from the period of September 30th to October 4th?

Yes, you posted on your own threads but were eerily silent on a lot of ISON threads in the last week.

Again this is a simple question and not trying to trick you into anything so no snarky remarks would be appreciated.

you obviously only know about the NASA orbiter and thats why you answered the way you did but I would be curious to your opinion on why the other Countries didn't take the opportunity to show up NASA or highlight their own space programs by showing the pictures they took of ISON near Mars?

Assuming they did which we all know they at least attempted to.

Yes, we want to see ISON from one of the MARS ORBITERS. NO ONE CAN ANSWER THIS QUESTION. The pictures should be HUGE and HIGHLY DETAILED. We should also see correct interstellar and interplanetary orientation that can be verified through Stellarium or Google Mars.

SIMPLE

ALL OF THESE ORBITERS CANNOT BE BROKEN OR OFFLINE

UNLESS OF COURSE, ISON DESTROYED THEM

There is nothing credible to line your stuff up with. if you can provide any credible stuff from the same period then maybe we can take your shit a bit more seriously. Until then it is pure rubbish.

After awhile, you will see a time when there is another body in orbit around your solar system, coming between Earth and the Sun and leading to tremendous devastation.

Approximately 60-70% of the world’s population will cease.

Even your governments and the Church authorities already have knowledge of the stars aligning and its implications upon you. You must not fear but must be prepared, primarily spiritually.

It sounds like they're trying now to look for any signs of stellar dimming as stars passed behind where ISON's coma should have been, but so far nothing is being seen directly.

Yes, you do. But it requires some degree of intelligence and knowledge of astronomy, which you apparently lack. It's called astrometry. You CAN determine precisely when the images are from. Here, let me give you a huge hint to get you started:
[link to nova.astrometry.net]
There's an astrometrically solved fits file of one of the frames from the gif animation. The fits file has WCS data embedded in it with which you can determine the precise coordinates of ISON in the image. From there you can easily verify when the image was taken. It's the same way I correctly identified comets even when the information given about the images and what they contained was a complete lie.

The Japs have a brand new Hisaki telescope meant to monitor the atmospheres and magnetospheres of the other planet in low Earth orbit. That has to be picking up clear data all the way through. If we can't get any mars data directly from Mars give us some data from the Jap scope meant to watch what we are all looking for here.

3-5 orbiters around MARS, not to mention Hubble for clear pictures from outside our atmosphere.

[link to www.planetary.org]

There are two natural satellites orbiting Mars and these are; Deimos and Phobos.. Around Mars include the Viking 1 orbite, Mariner 9, and probably the Mars Global Surveyor, but when the MGS went into safe mode the MRO team unsuccessfully tried to image it to determine its orientation, so it may no longer be in orbit. There are 3 functioning artificial satellites there; Mars Odyssey, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and Mars Express.

Does not mean they were all successful, all currently operational, etc. You make huge leaps in logic which unfortunately for you are not in agreement with reality

Yinghuo-1, the Chinese attempt, did not make it.
[link to en.wikipedia.org]
Russia has sent a number of missions there, but nothing recent from them has made it successfully. Fobos-Grunt was a failure.
Nozomi, the Japanese attempt, did not succeed in orbiting Mars either.
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

So again I tell you, Mars Express is the only non-NASA probe currently operational and orbiting Mars.

Even YouTube is in on it according to the OP,but why did they cut the video by 70%?..why not 75% or 50% or why not just delete all ison videos if they're trying to hide something..

And then nothing ever happens..cruise

There are f'n 24 hours in a day. You have a tiny portion of a day. We need multiple sources or something running similar to the sun monitoring cameras. Which happened to be going haywire during the pass magnetically and also happened to have huge gaps of data withheld. I'm not saying your stuff is straight up BS but we need much more than you provide to confirm that no events occurred.

I'm not a pro, not even close. But it does not take a pro to realize we have no damn data to use. You have at best a small piece of info we can use. There are so many observatories with equipment that blows yours out of the water and we need that info. The Japs have equipment up monitoring and we need that info. If we can get orbiter info we need that. We need other amateurs info.

This was a big event and a very anticipated pass. the info available is shady as can be. Right now you have the very best stuff and it is not close to denying an event occurred.

 Quoting: Dr. Astro

Point taken and acknowledged. But, you are conveniently naive if you think NASA is not watching this thing despite the shutdown. You are smarter than that. And, this is what is up for debate. The censorship of what we all pay tax dollars to see. Not how many orbiters are or are not around MARS at the critical juncture of this historic event. And, you and I both know that.

We have no way to tell when they are from and you damn well deserve no benefit of doubt.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 40196451

I'm not a pro, not even close. But it does not take a pro to realize we have no damn data to use.
 Quoting: AC

I just gave you "damn data," and there's a lot of other "damn data" out there just like it from other amateur astronomers all over the world. You acted like there was no way to even prove when it was taken and you said I didn't deserve the benefit of a doubt. This is now your lame-ass attempt at a retreat from your previous claim. You should just admit you were wrong and apologize.
There are so many observatories with equipment that blows yours out of the water and we need that info.
 Quoting: AC

Oh look, he tries to play a dick measuring contest with me. Cute little AC doesn't realize that equipment does not make you an amateur astronomer, performing astronomy makes you an amateur astronomer. The data I provided is just fine. It proves many things, among others that ISON is not on a collision course with earth and that it isn't dangerous nor is it interacting with Mars. Last, but not least, the equipment I used for the above images was extremely powerful. That was from a 20" Planewave telescope with an extremely powerful FLI CCD.

Yes, you posted on your own threads but were eerily silent on a lot of ISON threads in the last week.
 Quoting: Rogue Lemming

Oh for pete's sake, I did a webcast of ISON just this past weekend, even though I was celebrating my birthday. I don't post on every thread that comes along, but I do provide info where and when I can.
you obviously only know about the NASA orbiter and thats why you answered the way you did but I would be curious to your opinion on why the other Countries didn't take the opportunity to show up NASA or highlight their own space programs by showing the pictures they took of ISON near Mars?
 Quoting: rogue

ESA is the only other space agency with an orbiter around Mars. And according to a tweet released an hour ago, they have not had as much luck as NASA has in capturing it with their orbiter.

ESA Science @esascience
Comet #ison update 1 from Mars Express: image processing challenging, comet not seen in images so far analysed.

It sounds like they're trying now to look for any signs of stellar dimming as stars passed behind where ISON's coma should have been, but so far nothing is being seen directly.
 Quoting: Dr. Astro

Dr ASTRO, this thread should be deleted. The problem I see with these sorts of threads is too many religious freaks thinking one of these comets will be their ride out of here! LMAO

Dr ASTRO, can you please confirm what I have been informed from NASA's JPL----- comet ISON is disintegrating rapidly and won't even make it to perihelion and that all previous forecasts for a "great metoer shower" have been changed to basically "cloudy with a chance of nothing!" LMAO

In short, ISON is another FAIL.

CORRECT?

No... The thread should not be deleted. You're attempt to have this thread deleted during a known blackout of data indicates you're a shill trying to shutdown the flow of information.

You mention ISON breaking up but yet provide no proof or evidence of such events taking place. I guess you just take an agencies or persons word for it without any evidence and move on or you're paid to say it.

There is still no legitimate pictures or video showing ISON passing Mars nor any of Mars before and after the dates mentioned above.

The OP has a legit concerns / questions regarding the blackout of data from all of these agencies who have spent billions of our tax dollars. Meanwhile, they haven't provided anyone with any information.

By the way, you shouldn't step on other people beliefs or faith. It's people like you who complain about someone else that causes the whole to lose everything. That only make you more of an arse.

Actually that WAS the point you were trying to make over and over again. I now fail to see the point. MRO could barely detect ISON, Mars Express may not have been able to detect it at all. It's quite faint still and its light is spread out over a wider area of the sky as seen from Mars. That makes it hard to image without a widefield telescope (FOV > 1 degree) and long exposure images.

I just want the damn truth and your stuff is not close to telling the truth of what happened in the pass. And no other shit that we have found yet does either.

Why don't you f'n admit that Hisaki damn well has all of the data and that Hisaki blows your abilities out of the water as much as yours blow mine out of the water not having an observing backround?

You know damn well there is not enough information or anywhere close to say an event did not occur.
